The framework for our Spanish Immersion preschool program is comprised of theme based units. These themes provide relevance to the curriculum. Through themes that are familiar and of interest to the children, we create units that provide a context where we can imbed skills and the Spanish language.
We exceed classroom ratio requirements.
Although the licensing requirements for preschool ratios are 12:1, our program’s ratios are frequently smaller. Our classroom capacities vary by age.
Children are assigned to the classroom that is deemed appropriate by both age and observation by staff and parent input. This group becomes your child’s community of friends and trusted adults, until they all move together as a group to the next class the following year.
Preschool is from 9am to 12pm daily and we offer flexible schedules on a first come basis, accepting enrollment year-round. We offer flexible extended care for our part time preschoolers, starting at 7:00 a.m. and after 12:00 p.m. We also offer full day schedules which are available between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
