Reading Readiness Focus:
This week students will focus on the letter ‘Gg’. We will focus on the soft sound, which in Spanish sounds the same as in soft sound of ‘G’ English. The sound is like the ‘g’ in ‘game’.
? M. Dora’s class will identify and match lower case to capital and isolate its sound.
? M.Bertha’s class will be working on printing capital and lower case ‘Gg’ in addition to the above.
Math:
? Students will review ‘grande’, ‘mediano’, pequeño’
Science and Nutrition:
? Air balloon–Students will experiment with weight by adding and subtracting weight to a basket attached to their balloon to keep it floating at a certain level.
? Students will make guacamole.
