Hello, my name is Bertha Paredes Cruz. I was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. I finished high school in Mexico City and followed with two years of Early Childhood Education. I discovered when I was very young that my calling in life was to work with children. Playing teacher with my friends was a favorite game growing up; and I was thrilled at 15 when I had the chance to teach catechism to small children. I worked in Guadalajara City for one year and soon after, in 2006, had the opportunity to come to live in the U.S. Soon after arriving in this new country, I had the great fortune of finding what I feel is the best place to work, Centro Armonia. It is here that I continue having the opportunity to work with children and grow in my knowledge of early childhood. I am so happy knowing that I am available to our children when their mommies have to be somewhere else. I feel grateful every day for this opportunity.
I’m married to a wonderful husband and have a beautiful daughter who is 7 years old. Some of our favorite things to do are reading, walking and cooking together.
